Handwritten Wines New SOYO House Soft Opening Runs Now Through January 29th

As part of its ongoing sustainability initiatives, Handwritten Wines new SOYO House is clad with reclaimed redwood sourced from vintage wine vats 

(Napa Valley, CA, January 10th 2020) — Handwritten Wines celebrated the opening of its new location in South Yountville with the inaugural event, A New Year’s Eve Progressive Celebration, in partnership with Bardessono Hotel & Spa’s Lucy Restaurant. Following the holiday celebration, Handwritten’s ongoing soft opening runs through January 29th. Handwritten’s official Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting with the Yountville Chamber of Commerce is set for Thursday, January 30th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Along with the ribbon cutting, Handwritten will feature multiple wine pairing stations highlighting its hillside and mountain Napa Valley District Cabernet Sauvignons sourced from two-acre blocks. Handwritten now sources grapes from 9 of 16 Napa Valley Districts including Carneros, Coombsville, Yountville (fall 2020 release), Oak Knoll, Oakville, Stags Leap, Mt. Veeder, Rutherford and Calistoga. Handwritten also offers a proprietary, Bordeaux-style blend ‘Three Words’ and Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir from the Central Coast near Santa Barbara. Its white wine portfolio includes a Sauvignon Blanc ‘The Author’ sourced from Napa’s eastern Wooden Valley, while its Chardonnay features the floral and rare 809 Clone from the cool Carneros region.

One of the new wine and culinary experiences will be Handwritten’s Bread & Butter Tasting which includes various artisan bread and butter pairings, along with delicately sliced Jamón-style ham and artisan cheeses presented tableside. Handwritten will continue to showcase its comprehensive, side-by-side comparative tasting experience of Napa Valley District Cabernet Sauvignons.

In addition to its ongoing Sommelier and StoryTellers Series, Handwritten is launching its new bi-monthly SOYO House Supper Club Series with a Saturday, February 15th ‘A Night in the Alps with Handwritten’ in celebration of Valentine’s Day.
